It was a regular Monday last winter and I was in line for my lunch at school. I had gotten this huge awesome lunch that I was looking forward to eating. However, it turned out that my lunch account was -$10.00 which meant that I couldn't purchase my lunch. I was so frustrated, but behind me was my History teacher and she said to the cashier, "Um Can you just put that on my tab?" The cashier smiled and punched in the number. I was speechless and just nodded and walked away to my friend's table! So a few days later I approached my teacher and struggled to put my thank-you into words. I just said, "Th-thank you for paying for my lunch the other day..I seriously appreciate that." She smiled, and I knew that I made her day by noticing her random act of kindness to me; as she made mine on monday!
