A Thankful Proclamation

My Heavenly Father,

I thank You for all the days of my life;
The sadness, the joy,
The pleasures and the strife.
I praise You for I am not normal,
No. I am unique in Your eyes.
I love You for all of Your goodness
And all of Your grace,
For I grasp my salvation,
Sown from what Jesus faced.
I arise each morning, being beyond blessed
My cup overflows - in You I am always at rest.
Though there are iniquities, that my body commits,
My soul longs for You, and I humbly submit -
My heart to You, and You sustain me.
For me to be moved, You will not permit.

Through You I am righteous
Not by my deeds
Not by my words,
Nor the character that I possess.
Instead, I am more than rich,
From Your great spirit,
Your steadfast love,
Even though I am worth much less.

My Heavenly Father,

I thank You for the sun that lights up the sky,
The moon that bestows the quiet of the night.
In the harshest desert, my cup is never dry
I uplift to You my all; my burden is light.

The cheeks on my face always smile,
The world worships Your omnipotence.
Your hand holds me in my every mile.
Every step I take, is in great confidence.

I thank You Lord, for your everlasting goodness.
I thank You for the relationship we have through Jesus Christ Your son.
I thank You for every moment in my existence as it is given by You.
I thank You Lord, and I love You too.
