As much as being active is fun at all. The computer is my favourite past time. I just sit, watch a show here and there, talk, blog, write, read about a deer that can jump 2 metres high, look at funny and weird photos, edit photos then rinse and repeat. Nowadays so many things are on the internet. Knowledge is free, social interaction that the human mind so desperately craves is everywhere, and you can really find almost anything to suit your likes.
I think most importantly is the fact that you can talk to your friends though you are so far. It's nice to just say hello. Or better yet, someone saying hello to you! For those who haven't seen someone in a while, it's rather easy to just catch up and get to know someone. Of course it is harder to establish sincerity over text, but hey, it's better than not talking at all.
Life really can be as good as we want it to be, we just need to think so.
