You Deserve It

At the market today, there was a mother and her two sons. I was waiting for my brother to finish shopping inside while I sat on a bench outside. I overheard the mother talking to the youngest son. He was crying because he wanted a bottle of juice, but she told him, "I'm sorry, we don't have enough money." I luckily had four dollars in my pocket, and knowing that juice wasn't that expensive, I gave them my money. "You deserve it." I said.

"As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself and the other for helping others."
