It's A Wonderful Life

I'm not quite sure how I should be feeling right now. Someone whose birthday I just celebrated not long ago has passed away. Though I don't know that person well, I'm not quite indifferent. I'm not severely affected but I am a little sad. Yet at the same time I'm glad we took him and his wife out on his birthday. I could see that the couple were so thankful that someone cared and I believe care is just the greatest blessing for them. I think that birthday was the last time I spoke to him, he was healthy and this couple was so lovely. In his hard last week, I almost sensed that God was calling him home. I hope that there is peace in his family and joy in the knowledge that he is reunited with Christ. Rest in peace.
