Local Difference

Returning back is like entering another world. This place is almost foreign yet fondly familiar and it's hard to accept what I think of this place. It's a vast contrast to Australian life as people can be rich and the night life is vibrant with buzzing life. The towns are busy and the roads are never quiet. However spread all through the country are those living difficult lives. People tormenting in the humid heat of Singapore whilst trying to provide for the sick and elderly, people suffering from poverty as the cost of living with some things is just too high. You don't see this kind of hard work and resilience in Australia. No doubt there are those who struggle in Australia, but evidently we live a more peaceful and well rounded life in general. That's all I have to say; it's only day 3 here.
